Bridging Class 2021

Learn basic concepts and skills of Huatou (Chn. 話頭, Jpn. wato, Krn. hwadu) or Doubting Meditation

The Bridging Class is designed for students who have completed the Beginner’s Zen Class or have learned meditation before but want to learn a new meditation skill. In this 3-session course, you will learn basic concepts and skills of Huatou (Chn. 話頭, Jpn. wato, Krn. hwadu) or Doubting Meditation, a time-tested and widely-approved meditation method that could lead people to uncover self-nature, and also the major meditation skill we apply in the Center.

When you complete one session of the course, we hope you access the next session for one week. As we know the importance of building up a regular sitting habit for practitioners, you will be required to practice Doubting Meditation twice a week before you take the next session.
